Hey guys,
Here's a chart of Present Simple and Continuous Tense and Pronouns. Go check it out to review what we learned for the last 2 weeks.
I will be giving you a test next week on the grammar lessons we studied.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment and I'll be helping you out. :)
Miss Leah
Miss Leah , I have a questions are these two sentences the same " You and me" and "You and I"? Thank you ^^
ReplyDeleteIng. M.1/1 No.11
It's not the same, "You and I" is grammatically correct but "You and me" isn't. If you are using "You and I" in a sentence, both should be used as a subject, and if you're using "You and me" use You as a subject and Me as an object. For example: "You and I are having lunch together." "He'll invite you and me at his party"

ReplyDeleteLearning grammar is quite difficult and boring. But if we work hard, we'll understand everything clearly. I have one question, when do we use past perfect tense?
ReplyDeletePaopao M1/2 No15
Hi Pao,
DeleteSorry for the late reply. Anyway, Past Perfect Tense is used for completed action before something happened in the past. We form Past Perfect like this: Subject + had + past participle (V3). e.g. I had eaten lunch before I went to the mall. Another use is for a duration before something in the past. e.g. We had had that car for 10 years before it broke down. Notice that after the phrase with had and past participle, past simple form is used. For more information about your question, check this website out.

Hope it helps.
